This recording is a musical expression of Baha'u'llah's description, in His own words, of that most ecstatic scene in which the Maid of Heaven calls Him to the station of Manifestation of God. In this Persian mystical ode, known as the 'Halih, Halih, Ya Bisharat', Baha'u'llah describes her in astonishing detail. Using metaphor and symbol in the language of the spirit, He portrays her dramatic celestial presence with intense awe. He begins: 'He is the Beloved One / The Maid of Eternity came from the Exalted Paradise... With harp and with / song, with crimson goblet she came'
