Congo Youth Choir
On Wednesday morning, May 23, 2001, representatives from all the tribes and peoples of the human reace gathered at the foot of Mount Carmel in Haifa, Israel, and, as the world watch via international satellite television links, celebrated the official dedication of the magnificent Bahá'í Terraces and Gardens built one kilometre up the side of that mountain.
The Congo Youth Choir, a gourp of 18 young men and women from the Democratic Republic of Congo, were invited to open this ceremony. There music was original, fusin traditional and modern artistic ideas.
