Katharine Key
Katharine Key is a biology researcher who just happens to love singing, playing, and writing music for the Bahá'í community in her spare time. Her debut album, "Intone," contains 10 original songs whose lyrics are drawn directly from the writings of Bahá'u'lláh, 'Abdu'l-Bahá, and the Báb. Several of the songs are based on quotations that appear in the Ruhi Institute courses Books 1 and 2.
These songs span a diverse range of musical styles, including jazz, folk, rock, latin jazz, and trance groove. Despite the name, the album is much more than Katharine Key. "I feel extremely fortunate that several talented musicians have added instrumental and vocal parts to these songs," she says. "The contributions of my dear friends have developed and matured each song. This album is truly a collaborative work. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I have enjoyed seeing it unfold."
