This document explains DivineNotes.com's privacy policy regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. The policy is part of our Terms of Use.
DivineNotes.com takes privacy seriously. We only collect the personal information we need to provide the services you request. We will never share your personal information except in the ways outlined in this document which constitute part of our normal operations. Under no condition will DivineNotes.com sell your personal information.

Information Collection
Juxta Publishing Ltd., the owner of DivineNotes.com, is the sole owner of information collected on DivineNotes.com. DivineNotes.com may collect information at several points including during the creation of an account, at the time of credit purchase and at the time of music download. We will collect only the information we need at any given point to ensure we can fulfill your requests with respect to use of the site.
IP Addresses and Hostnames
We use IP addresses and hostnames to diagnose problems with our service and to track statistical data about the use of our site. IP addresses and hostnames are also used to track downloads of music and to monitor for abuses of the services we provide.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies for two reasons: to track your authentication when you log into your account and to track the contents of your shopping cart while you are shopping. Cookies will not contain personally-identifiable information.
Personal Information
When you create an account you will be asked to provide personal information including your name, e-mail address, country of residence and other similar information. This information allows us to create a personal account for you, to customize the site to your geographic region and to ensure we comply with various nation's tax regulations.
Financial Transactions and Information
At the time of the purchase of song credits you will be directed to the Web site of one of our credit card transaction processing services who will collect your credit card information, your name and address and any other information they may require or may be required by your credit card company or bank to verify and authorize your credit card transaction. This information will be retained by the transaction processing company according to their privacy policies, anti-fraud policies and other legal requirements.
DivineNotes.com only works with credit card processing services whose privacy policies do not allow personal information to be shared with third parties except to facilitate the completion of your transactions. We will not work with transaction processors who are willing to sell your personal information to list maintainers, spammers or other third parties who abuse personal information.
The contact information from your credit card transaction as well as the success of your transaction is made available to DivineNotes.com and we will treat this information according to the privacy policy outlined in this document. Your credit card number is never provided directly to DivineNotes.com and we do not retain or store any credit card data.
Tracking Downloads
To prevent abuse of our service we will track each individual download of purchased or sample music including tracking which user downloaded a song (in the case of purchased music only) as well as the source IP address from which the music is downloaded. This allows us to analyze usage patterns and identify sites or users attempting to abuse our services.
Periodic E-mails
When you create an account on DivineNotes.com you will be required to provide an e-mail address. This address will be used to send you information necessary for the maintenance of your account including information about changes to our privacy or terms of use policies, changes to our account services and other maintenance information. You will not receive promotional e-mails unless you opt to receive promotions from DivineNotes.com at the time you create your account or at a later date.
Newsletter Mailing List
If you subscribe to our newsletter you will receive the newsletter on a periodic basis by e-mail. The frequency of the newsletter will be determined by DivineNotes.com but will not be sent more than once per week. We will not send subscribers any other e-mails except those that pertain to the functioning of their newsletter subscriptions and to inform them of changes in the newsletter or policies regarding the newsletter.

Our site may contain links to outside sites which maintain their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy policies of these sites.
Artists
We will maintain in our records personal information about artists selling their music on DivineNotes.com which is necessary to facilitate entering into a music distribution agreement with those artists, selling those artists' music and executing payment of royalties to those artists.
We will not share the personal information of artists with users, with other artists or with other third parties except as allowed in the music distribution agreement signed by the artists.
Children
DivineNotes.com will not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from or about children under the age of 13 except as permitted by law. If we discover we have collected such information unknowingly, we will immediately delete the information from our records.
Security
DivineNotes.com makes every resonable effort to ensure the personal information you provide us is safe from theft or accidental exposure to third parties.
Information Sharing
DivineNotes.com will never sell or distribute your personal information to third parties for any reason without your permission except as provided for in this document. We will be especially careful never to reveal your information to third parties who build mailing lists, send spam or otherwise abuse personal information.
We also do not share personal information about individual users with artists selling through DivineNotes.com nor will we share artists' personal information with users except as allowed for by a music distribution agreement.
Exception as Required by Law
DivineNotes.com may need to divulge personal information where the law requires us to do so or where law enforcement agencies or the courts possess the necessary warrants or court orders requiring us to do so. We will make every best effort to ensure the request is legitimate and binding before divulging personal information.
Business Transition Exception
If DivineNotes.com engages in a business transition such as a merger or acquisition by another company, the personal information about users and artists which we hold will typically be transferred as part of the assets of the business.
Aggregate Data
DivineNotes.com may from time to time generate aggregate statistical reports regarding the patterns of use of the DivineNotes.com site. This aggregate data may be shared with artists selling through DivineNotes.com or our business partners but will never contain any personally identifiable information.
Choice
At the time you register for an account you will have the option to receive promotional e-mails from DivineNotes.com about our services or services of partners we choose to highlight; we will never provide your e-mail address or other personal information to our partners. These e-mails will originate from DivineNotes.com.
If you choose to receive these e-mails and later wish to stop receiving them or you wish to close your account and have us delete personally-identifiable information about you from our records, you must contact us by e-mail at info@divinenotes.com.
